MAHONING COUNTY
Austintown: Parade is 2 p.m. Thursday on South Raccoon Road between Kirk Road and the entrance to Fitch High School; fireworks at dusk in Fitch stadium; picnic Saturday at Austintown Park, noon to 5 p.m., featuring car and craft shows, bands and an old-time baseball game. Boardman: Bands play at 8 p.m. Tuesdayand 7 to 8:30 Wednesday at Boardman Park. Fireworks show follows at 10 p.m. Tuesday. Campbell: Bike show, 5 to 9 p.m. Friday; parade begins 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Campbell City Hall and car and truck show 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bands play 4 to 10 p.m. July 7. Fireworks at 10 p.m. All events in Roosevelt Park. Canfield: Fairgrounds gates open at 4 p.m. Wednesday for the celebration. Admission cost is $10 a car. Fireworks start at dusk. Rain date is Thursday, same time. North Jackson: Parade is 10 a.m. Thursday, Liberty Steel.Poland: Fireworks, dusk Friday, Poland Seminary High School. Bring chairs for seating on practice field.Sebring: Activities from 8:45 a.m. to fireworks at 10 p.m. Thursday, Southside Park. Bike parade at 1:30 p.m., veterans parade, 3:30 p.m. Struthers: Celebrations and music 1 to 9 p.m. July 7 at Mauthe Park. Fireworks at 10 p.m., weather permitting. Alumni reunion activities Friday through July 7 at Mauthe Park, concluding with veterans tribute at The Embassy; parade noon Thursday, Struthers Plaza, Fifth St. and Manor Ave.Youngstown: Parade at noon Thursday, corner of Fifth and Rayen to Federal Plaza Amphitheater. Fireworks 9:50 p.m. between Market St. and South Ave. bridges. Rain date Friday. Music and entertainment noon to 11 p.m. Friday through July 7. Lansingville Block Watch parade gathers at 3:15 p.m. today at St. Matthias School parking lot. Rain date July 7.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
Howland: Parade begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hunters Woods Plaza, East Market Street. Car show and pet parade 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Howland High School, corner of Willow Drive and East Market Street.Newton Falls: Music 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; parade 10 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God. Fireworks 10 p.m. at Newton Falls City Park.Warren: Activities begin 3 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Packard Park and Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. N.W. Band at 8:15 p.m., and fireworks immediately following.
COLUMBIANA COUNTY
Columbiana: Events Thursday at Firestone Park are as follows: 9 a.m., fishing contest, ages 3-12, bring your own pole; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., family games; 1 p.m., canoe race; 4 p.m., ice cream eating contest for ages 2-12; 5 p.m., kailiope concert by Leonard "Doc" Pritchard; 6:30 p.m., sky divers drop in with American flag; 7:30 p.m., concert by Canfield Community Band; 8:50 p.m. flag ceremony: 9:50 p.m. 50/50 drawing; 10 p.m., fireworks; 10:30 p.m. to midnight, teen dance.East Palestine: Events Thursday at the city park are as follows: 8 a.m., East Palestine High School alumni serving breakfast at the community center; 11 a.m. skateboard, bicycle competitions; noon, pet parade; 2 p.m. games for all ages; 4 p.m., rubber-duck derby for EPHS alumni scholarship program; 5 p.m., cow-chip bingo; 5:15 p.m., basketball free-throw contest; dusk, light parade, followed by fireworks.
MERCER COUNTY
Grove City: 3 p.m. Fifth annual Paddle-Pedal-Hoof Relay. Participants paddle in Wolf Creek, ride a bike on a bike trail and run along Greenwood Drive to Cunningham Mill Park. 8 p.m. Vocal patriotic program presented by the Bach Society on the lower campus of Grove City College. Fireworks at dark.Sharon: Wednesday: All-day Bike Night rally. Fireworks at 10 p.m.Greenville: Wednesday: 8 p.m. Entertainment and food vendors in Riverside Park followed by fireworks at 10 p.m.
LAWRENCE COUNTY
New Wilmington: Concert and fireworks, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster College's Brittain Lake. Outdoor concert 7:30 p.m. Friday, Brittain Lake.
VENANGO COUNTY
Franklin: Music and festivities through Saturday. Music Tuesday 8 p.m. at Bandstand Park; pet show, 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fountain Park. Fireworks, dusk Thursday at Riverfront Park.
