Background: Came to Youngstown in 1923. She is a 50-year member and a mother of Union Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years, past president of the missionary society, deaconess and member of Church Women United.

Interests: She has always been interested in sports and played softball and fished.
