Family holds celebration for McDaniels' 50th

STRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Larry McDaniel, 26 Grandview Ave., where feted by family and friends as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a luncheon held in their honor June 29 at The Oak View.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Karen and Joe Wawrosch of Columbus, Ga.; Debbie and Bob George, Linda and Matt Pittmann and Larry McDaniel II, all of Struthers; Sandy and Brant Metzler of Austintown; Susan and David West of Houston; and Donna and Keith Johnson of Friendswood, Texas.
Included in the family circle are 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The former Donna Mahaffey and Mr. McDaniel were married June 28, 1952, at First Christian Church in Girard. They are members of Christ Church in Boardman, Youngstown Shrine Club and Aut Mori Grotto.
Mrs. McDaniel is a homemaker. Her husband retired in 1994 after 40 years of service with Ohio Edison Co. in Youngstown. He is a member of the Chatterbox Club and Argus Golf League.
