BOARDMAN -- A honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic followed the June 1 wedding of John Tomory, Youngstown, and his bride, the former Brandy Zembower, Columbiana, which took place at St. Charles Church.
The couple were married in a ceremony performed at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Daniel Venglarik and later were honored during a reception at The Embassy in Youngstown.
The bride's parents are Roger and Debra Zembower of Columbiana. The groom is a son of David and Lynda Fuller, Youngstown, and Raymond and Carolynn Tomory, Chugiak, Alaska.
The bride wore a two-piece satin and tulle ensemble with a corset-style bodice and multipleated skirt.
Honor attendants were Jaime Witt, the bride's sister, and Tammy Grieco. Bridesmaids were Andrea Glass, Heather Bland, Jonelle Koppel, Lisa Dubos and Gretchen Farmer. They wore platinum-colored dresses. Paige Witt, the bride's niece, was flower girl.
Bill Tomory served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Jason Pogany, the groom's cousin, and Rick Kralic, Mike Palotsee, Ron Stalsmith, John Panagul and Don Laree. Ring bearers were Collin Witt, the bride's nephew, and Jacob Tomory, his nephew.
Mrs. Tomory is pursuing a degree in psychology at Youngstown State University. She works in sales for Alltel Communications.
The groom, who is engineering manager at Trionetics, Twinsburg, has a degree in mechanical engineering from YSU.
They live in Youngstown.
