Franko-Douglas engagement is made known

NILES -- Announcement is being made by Joseph and Marilyn Franko, 1884 Meadowlark Lane, of the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Franko, 1871/2 N. Lancaster St., Athens, to Ryan Douglas, 5 Elizabeth St., Athens.
Mr. Douglas is a son of Mark and Sherry Douglas, 1051 Crestview, Troy.
Miss Franko holds a bachelor's degree in hearing and speech services from Ohio University in Athens, where she is a graduate student in speech-language pathology.
Her fiance graduated from OU with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. He is employed as a graphic designer with The Athens News.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, where a reception will follow.
