XK. of C. Ladies of Father Gallagher Council 3144 will meet at 5 p.m. July 9 at the home of Mary Ferenchik, 7645 E. Parkside Drive, Boardman, for an annual picnic. Ferenchik will be hostess along with Jean Pompura and Virginia Graneto.
CLASSES
XSouth High School January and June Classes of 1938 will hold a Dutch treat luncheon meeting at 1 p.m. July 8 at Denny's in Boardman.
CLUBS
XAfter 5, Christian Business and Professional Women of America, will have a dinner at 6:30 p.m. July 8 at Theodore's Banquet Centre, 1404 Canfield Niles Road, Mineral Ridge. The speaker will be Donalyn Bratton, and music will be presented by Aubrey Reese. There will be a special feature on golf. The cost is $8.50. XWarren Christian Women's Club will hold "A Star Spangled Birthday Brunch" from 9:30 to 11 a.m. July 8 at the Avalon Inn in Howland. Speaker will be Carol Watson on "A Woman of Today and Not Tomorrow," and there will be special music by Amanda Pishotti. Cost is $8.50, and a free nursery will be available. XTrumbull County Farm Bureau Young Agriculturist Council will meet at Old Country Buffet at 11:30 a.m. Friday for lunch, then travel to Cortland to observe the progress being made on the Trumbull County Agriculture Building.

XPenn-Ohio Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild will meet at 9:45 a.m. July 6 at New Castle Public Library, 207 E. North St., New Castle, Pa.

SUPPORT GROUPS
XParkinson's Support Group of Mahoning Valley will hold its annual catered indoor picnic from 2 to 4 p.m. July 11 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, with Ed and Bea Ratkay and Al and Virginia Pallotta as hosts. Reservations are due by Friday and may be made by calling Bill Cleary, (330) 792-9319. There will be one free meal per family; others are $6.
XParkinson's Support Group of Trumbull County will hold a catered picnic at 1:30 p.m. July 10 in the social room at Christ Episcopal Church, 2626 Atlantic St., Warren. Members are encouraged to take desserts to share. Regular meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the church.
