GINA VARIBENJAMIN GEMMEL
YOUNGSTOWN -- Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park was the setting at 2:30 p.m. May 19 for the wedding of Gina M. Vari, 121 17th St. N.W., Canton, and Benjamin Gemmel, also of Canton.
Dr. Herbert Dymale presided at the ceremony, and a reception was held afterward at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center.
After accepting congratulations, the daughter of Darlene Hannay of Berlin Center and Timothy Vari of Campbell and the son of Emil and Ruth Gemmel of Berlin Center left on a wedding trip to the New England States. They live in Canton.
The bride graduated from Malone College in Canton with a bachelor's degree and is employed by Allstate Insurance Co. in Hudson.
The groom attended Malone College and is employed by Hewlitt Packard in Canton.
Yellow gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Melissa Andrews of Louisville, Ky., and the bridesmaids, Emily Walters of Youngstown and Tonya Pirtle of Louisville.
Serving as best man was Curt Gemmel of Berlin Center, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Adam Loutzenhiser of Berlin Center and Nathan Boivin of Deerfield.
