Younts to be honored for 60th anniversary

CORTLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Andrew T. Yount of Cortland will be honored by their family at a buffet reception at 1 p.m. June 30 at DiVieste Banquet Hall in Warren in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Yount and the former Margaret Miller were married June 27, 1942, at the Methodist Church in Wellsburg, W.Va.
A graduate of the University of San Francisco, Mr. Yount served in the South Pacific as a U.S. Marine officer during World War II. He and his wife opened the Miller-Yount Paving Co., where they are still active.
Mrs. Young graduated from Kent State University and was a teacher with the Howland Township and Warren City schools before taking the position of vice president and secretary of the paving company.
The Younts are members of Central Christian Church, Warren, and numerous lodges and associations.
