Therapy dog events planned for handlers

ALLIANCE -- Rainbow Therapy Dogs is a volunteer group organized to prepare handlers and their therapy dogs for visitations to institutions, facilities and other places where such animals are needed.
The group has several events planned for upcoming weeks:
USaturday: Practice session to help owners and their dogs prepare to take the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International Inc. tests, 1 p.m., Signature K-9, 14143 Ravenna Ave. N.E., Alliance. No pre-registration is required.
UJuly 6: CGC and TDI tests, Signature K-9. No pre-registration is required.
UJuly 9: Group program at Great Trail Care Center, 400 Carolyn Court, Minerva, 7:30 p.m.
UJuly 16: Regular monthly meeting, 6:30 p.m., Texas Roadhouse, 2033 W. State St., Alliance.
The club invites visitors to attend a meeting and consider membership. Membership includes purebred and mixed-breed dogs, tested by certified TDI evaluators. For more information, contact Diane Riley at (330) 823-3305.
