CANFIELD
June 17
Theft: The owner of Professional Engine Systems, 495 W. Main St., reported a check from a construction company for $1,159.30 topay for work done on an air compressor bounced and he contactedthe company but was not able to receive his payment. He said hewill pursue criminal charges if he can't get paid.
Criminal damage: A mailbox was reported damaged when it was knockedover in the 90 block of Russo Drive.
Vandalism: A garage door was defaced and profanities were written on it, apparently in nail polish. The house was also toilet papered in the 200 block of Russo Drive.
June 19
Theft: Plants were reported missing from a garden in the 200 blockof South Broad Street over the past few weeks and cuttings were takenf rom roses which have damaged the rosebushes. Firewood was alsoremoved from the property.
June 20
Stolen: A lawn mower and leaf blower were stolen from a garage in the 100 block of Russo Drive. The garage apparently was broken into from the outside and the electric garage door opener disengaged.
Drug paraphernalia: An 18-year-old North Jackson man was arrested in the 500 block of W. Main Street in a parking lot after atraffic violation and a silver metal pipe with suspected marijuanaresidue was discovered.

Theft: A vehicle taillight assembly was stolen from an auto in the 20 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A 1979 Pontiac Bonneville was reported stolen from the Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Attempted theft: The steering column was peeled on a 1995 Oldsmobile at the Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: An AM-FM CD player was stolen from the 500 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: Miscellaneous items were stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Drug Offense: An arrest was made on a summons of a male suspect from Diamond, Ohio, at Mahoning Avenue and Idaho Road for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A door lock was pulled and a stereo and speakers were stolen in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.
Theft: The parking light assemblies from two vehicles were stolen from Blue Ribbon Cleaners, 4004 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1991 Chevrolet Lumina was stolen from the 4000 block of Westchester Square.
Attempted Burglary: A door frame was damaged by a pry tool in the 7000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A video machine was taken from the lobby of Oven Fresh Pizza, 1698 S. Raccoon Road.
Drug offense: A Campbell man was arrested on a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Plumbrook Drive and North Warwick Drive.
Theft: An arcade game was broken into at Regal Cinemas, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A vehicle was driven through the garagedoor and cash and cigarettes were stolen at Rocky's Brew Thru, 6300 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: A 30-year-old male suspect was arrested at the Days Inn,1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road and turned over to the FBI inreference to a bank robbery.
Theft: An amplifier was stolen from a trunk in the 300 block of S.
Edgehill Avenue.
Bad check: McCormick jewelry reported receiving a bad check rom a female suspect for $591 at 5015 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A summons was issued for the arrest of an 18-year-old malein the theft of cigarettes from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Avenue.
Warrant: A warrant was issued for a 30-year-old male suspect for election fraud by Mahoning County Court No. 4, 6000 Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal Trespass: A female suspect was arrested for trespassing atthe Rebel Truck Lot, Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A Mitsubishi cell phone was stolen from Teri's Dance Co., 5470 Mahoning Avenue.
Warrant: A female suspect was turned over to Struthers Police on charges of drug abuse after being arrested at The Rebel Lounge,5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Warrant: A Youngstown man was arrested on a warrant from Reading, California police on charges of lude acts on a child underthe age of 14 in the 20 block of Maple Avenue.
Theft: A 1998 Cadillac was stolen from the 100 block of N. Navarre Avenue.
Theft: Several checks and a bank statement were stolen from anunknown location.
Theft: A 27-year-old male was accused of theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of $900 was taken from a general housekeeping room at the Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Attempted burglary: A door was dented and the frame cracked at aresidence in the 300 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Forgery: Two suspects were arrested for forgery at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damage: A male suspect damaged siding on a building in the 400 block of Westchester Drive.
Chemical Spill: Diesel fuel was reported spilled at Pilot gas station,1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was dented in the 300 block of Allendale Avenue.
Attempted Burglary: A black male attempted entry through akitchen window in the residential 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: An AM-FM CD player was stolen from the 100 block of South Meridian Road.
Warrant: A Youngstown female was arrested for trafficking in cocaine on a warrant out of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
Warrant: A Youngstown man was arrested on a bench warrant out of Mahoning County Court No. 4 for failure to appear on a charge of criminal damaging.
Theft: A riding mower was stolen from the residential 3000 block of Bryant Drive.
Assault: A male victim was hit with a full beer can on the left side of the neck on N. Four Mile Run Road at I-680 and the bridge.

Theft: An American flag was stolen from a mailbox in the 3000 block of Orchard Hill Drive.
Assault: A male victim was assaulted by another male at the Motel 6.
Theft: A total $400 was reported taken from a victim in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.
Theft: A wallet was taken from a victim's residence in the 200 block of S. Navarre Avenue.
Theft: A Honda dirt bike was taken from the 10 block of N. FourMile Run Road.

Drug Offense: Two summons were issued for the arrest of a malesuspect in a drug offense in the 1400 block of S. Canfield-NilesRoad.
Auto Theft: A 1994 Oldsmobile was stolen from True NorthTrucking, 3710 LeHarps Road.
Attempted theft: Theft from an auto was attempted in the driveway of aresidence in the 500 block of Western Place. There was damage tothe rear window and covered metal hinges on the vehicle.
Vehicle theft: A 2000 Yamaha four-wheeler and a 1987 Suzuki four-wheeler were stolen from the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.
Vehicle theft: A 1996 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Vehicle theft: A freightliner with trailer containing 650 DVDs was stolen from the west parking lot of Pilot Gas Station, 1150 N.
