Babe Ruth (14-15s)
Commercial Neon 10, Belleria Pizza 5 -- Neon (7-10) topped Belleria (8-7) behind Josh Folkwein, who had three hits. Dan Balog was the winning pitcher and had two hits. Andy Kopper was also 2-for-4. John Pitzullo's two-run double in the sixth broke the game open.
Sluggers 12, Storm 1 -- Josh McKenney and Brad Blevins combined to shut down the Storm. Lou Kopachy singled and hit a bases-clearing triple. Dave Piersante, Greg Sansone and Jim Gromada added two hits. Sansone and Brett Grabman doubled.
East Side Kiwanis 12, Storm 2 -- Kevin Sikora, Jim Kriebel and Matt Savon all went 2-for-2 with a double as Kiwanis totaled 14 hits. Sikora also tripled. Kevin Lee hit a two-run home run for Storm.
Astro Falcons 4, Belleria Pizza 3 -- Matt Bable pitched a complete game win for Astros. Pat Figley went 2-for-3, while Matt Ruble added a double.
Sluggers 17, Storm 3 -- Tyler Stanley hit a home run for Sluggers (15-3). Bryan Boyce cracked two doubles, while Adam Miller and Jim Petrolla also doubled. AJ Pulice and Jim Gromada tripled. Gromada (3-0) got the win from the mound. Dave Piersante added two hits and Miller, Petrolla and Greg Sansone drove in three runs.
Commercial Neon 6, Central Optical 4 -- Brian Mellott received the win and John Pitzullo notched the save. Dan Balog doubled and tripled for Neon (8-10), while Andy Kopper had a two-base hit. For Optical (7-10), Dan Babyak was the hard-luck loser.

Austintown Home Depot 10, East Liverpool Sky Bank 4 -- The winning pitcher was Mike Swoboda. Connor Dockry had three hits, while Dave Stryffler and John Grover had two apiece.

Robert Senn 12, Sports Scene 6 -- Jason Mogg, Marck Slipski and Jonathan Bastian each had two hits for the winners. Mike Crook and Chris Stewart each scored two runs for the losers.
Robert Senn 6, Green Chevrolet 5 -- Alan Jarmusch went 3-for-3 and scored a run. Bryan Stolte went 3-for-4, while Paul Sabol and Jason Mogg each had two hits. Adam Sterling scored three runs for the losers.
Columbiana Post 290 7, Boardman Harshman, Bernard and Ramage 3 -- Joe Winters scattered four hits and struck out eight as he pitched a complete game to pick up the win. Cody McMillan and Tommy Dechelles each had two hits.
Robert Senn 6, Austintown Optimist 5 -- Mark Maxwell went 2-for-2 and scored twice. Vinnie Patella pitched three shutout innings. Joe Novak went 3-for-3 to pace Optimist.
Boardman Mayo and Associates 4, Niles Hangware Trophy 1 -- Mark Cartwright worked four shutout innings in relief to pick up his sixth win of the season. Zach Smith and Cartwright combined to pitch a three-hitter. Cartwright also collected two hits, while Smith hit a double.
Boardman R & amp; J Trucking 18, Poland Perkins Builders 11 -- Mark Carrocce allowed four hits in four innings. Geoff Marple had three hits, Ed Rohan added two doubles with T.J. Hosa, Dan McCarthy, Jeff Olenych and Josh Kershner each with two hits.
Boardman R & amp; J Trucking 12, Canfield Anthem Blue Cross 2 -- Jeff Olenych allowed three hits over six innings. Josh Kershner had a double and triple, with Mark Carrocce, Eddie Rohan, Dan McCarthy, Jeff Olenych and A.J. Caraballo each with two hits.
Boardman R & amp; J Trucking 12, Salem Eljer 2 -- Dan McCarthy allowed three hits over six innings. Mark Carrocce had three hits, with Dan McCarthy, Geoff Marple and Ryan Babyak each with two hits.
BB Rooners -- posted a 4-2 record in the Rawlings Invitational Wooden Bat tournament at Welland, Ontario, Canada. Rooners' (27-6) victories were over Blissfield 9-3; Canadian 17-year-old Thunderbirds 4-2, Ontario Blue Jays 4-3 and Ontario Astros 3-2. Rooners lost to Welland Renegades 8-5 and Canadians 18-year-old Thunderbirds 5-2.
