June 16
Theft: A woman reported a decorative angel and a $425 solar light were taken from her parents' grave site at a cemetery on Midlothian Boulevard.
Criminal damage: Someone deliberately cut three holes in a pop-up camper's screen/vinyl window at an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Sheridan Road.
Theft: Two female juvenile suspects reportedly stole two shirts at J.C. Penney in the Southern Park Mall.
June 18
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of theft and misuse of a credit card.
Warrant: Police arrested a 33-year-old Mineral Ridge man on an assault charge.
Warrant: Police arrested a 26-year-old Boardman man on a domestic violence charge.
Auto theft: A 1998 Honda Civic was stolen from an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lemans Drive.
Breaking and entering/theft: A woman reported someone broke into the main concession building at the Field of Dreams baseball complex, 410 McClurg Road. Four cases of a soft drink mix and assorted candies were taken.
Assault: A man reported that a 47-year-old man was assaulted in a parking lot in the 800 block of Bev Road.
Assault: A woman reported a 14-year-old male juvenile suspect assaulted her daughter on a school bus.
Theft: A cellular phone was stolen from a vehicle at a residence in the 100 block of Beechwood Drive.
Attempted auto theft: Someone attempted to steal three cars at Rick Bayus Motors, 5206 Youngstown-Poland Road. All three vehicles had damage to their steering columns.
Theft: A worker at All-Water Purification, 7393 California Ave., reported a former employee failed to return a $100 Home Depot gift card.
Breaking and entering/theft: Someone broke into a car at a residence in the 4000 block of Hillman Way and stole a CD player and 50 CDs.
Criminal damage/assault: A man in the 100 block of Meadowbrook Avenue reported a 45-year-old man slashed his tires and punched him in the chest.
Criminal damage: A car had a 32-inch scratch across its passenger side while parked at Circuit City, 7230 Market St.
Drugs: Police arrested an 18-year-old Canfield man after finding suspected marijuana and suspected drug paraphernalia in a car they stopped at Shields Road and Market Street. Also, a 20-year-old Boardman man was arrested after police found suspected marijuana and suspected drug paraphernalia in a vehicle they pulled over near Glenwood Avenue and U.S. Route 224.
June 19
Criminal damage: A vehicle had its driver's-side rear vent window broken in the 4200 block of Hillman Way.
Attempted breaking and entering: A man in the 4200 block of Stratford Road reported someone tried to break into his home after he discovered damage to a set of patio doors.
Criminal damage: A man reported his former girlfriend dented his car's hood and scratched its passenger-side door in the 4400 block of Lockwood Boulevard.
Drug abuse: Police arrested a 31-year-old Girard man after stopping his vehicle at Westview Avenue and Route 224. He was charged with possession of drug instruments and heroin possession after police found three hypodermic syringes, a spoon, and other suspected drug paraphernalia in the car.
Warrant: Police arrested a 43-year-old Girard woman on theft and trespassing charges at a gas station at Route 224 and Glenwood Avenue.
Theft: Two power tools were stolen from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Five pieces of clothing were taken from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Shoplifting: A 47-year-old Youngstown man allegedly took $215 worth of clothing from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Three Youngstown female juveniles and a 12-year-old Austintown girl were arrested on charges of stealing 10 bandanas, two pairs of earrings and other merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Theft: Police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown woman for allegedly stealing 10 pieces of clothing from J.C. Penney.
Assault: A Boardman man reported being struck up to 11 times in the face in the Denny's restaurant parking lot, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road.
June 20
Assault: Police arrested a 12-year-old boy on an assault charge.
Bogus check: A female suspect tried to make various purchases at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, using a stolen check.
Warrant: Police arrested a 43-year-old Youngstown woman at the Mahoning County Jail on a possession of drugs charge.
Theft: A man reported a .38 Smith & amp; Wesson gun was missing from his residence in the 4200 block of Stratford Road.
Assault: A woman reported being assaulted by two suspects in the 100 block of Mathews Road.
Criminal damage: A car had a 10-inch slash on its convertible top in the Giant Eagle parking lot, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
June 21
Criminal damage/theft: A car's driver's-side vent window was broken at a residence in the 4000 block of Hillman Way. Also, an AM-FM CD player and about 73 CDs were stolen from a vehicle, which had its passenger-side window broken.
Fraud: A 45-year-old male suspect allegedly purchased $137 worth of groceries at Giant Eagle using a stolen credit card.
Theft: A circular saw cable, a drill, a miter saw and other tools were taken from a residence in the 1300 block of St. Albans Drive.
Fraud: A woman reported a man removed checks from her checkbook and used them to receive cash and make other transactions at Sky Bank, 711 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Assault: A Bristolville man reported someone traveling in a vehicle near Washington and Southern boulevards threw a rock and struck him in the eye.
June 22
Attempted breaking and entering: A man in the 4200 block of Hillman Way reported someone tried to break into his vehicle. Also, a woman in the 4000 block of Hillman Way reported someone attempted to steal her car.
Criminal damage: A front window of a residence was broken in the 7400 block of Sierra Madre Trail.
Assault: A man reported being assaulted by two co-workers after an argument at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested a 37-year-old Youngstown woman on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Theft: A cellular phone was stolen at the Microtel, 7393 South Ave.
Attempted assault: A woman reported a 17-year-old male suspect tried to run her over with his vehicle in a parking lot at 243 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Auto theft: A man reported his mother's 1989 Buick Park Ave. was stolen from the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Drugs: Police arrested a 20-year-old man in the Poland Woods after they found a small bag of suspected marijuana in his possession.
June 22
Warrant: Police arrested a 36-year-old Youngstown man on a drug abuse charge after the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over near Pennsylvania Avenue and Route 224.
