The Stempaks will observe 50th on June 28

NEWTON FALLS -- Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stempak, 727 Park Ave., will observe their golden wedding anniversary June 28.
The couple were married on that date in 1952 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church.
Mrs. Stempak is the former Betty Hildack. She retired from the Newton Falls Exempted School District as a library aide at the middle school, and she also worked for the Newton Falls Public Library. She is a volunteer at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Her husband served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and is a retired carpenter from Local 171. He belongs to the Knights of Columbus 3350 and is a starter at Riverview Golf Course.
The Stempaks' family includes their two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Rosemary Stempak of Newton Falls and James and Joyce Stempak of Richmond Heights, and five grandchildren.
The couple are members of St. Joseph Church.
