YOUNGSTOWN -- Nancy Diane Doherty, daughter of Trish and John Doherty, 63 N. Hazelwood Ave., became the bride of Samuel Rocco Mangin, son of Shirley and Sam Mangin, 1079 North Ave., Girard, at 2 p.m. June 1 at St. Dominic Church.
Monsignor Thomas Kelly officiated, and the couple were honored at a reception at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
They are living at 250 Brownswitch Road, Slidell, La.
The bride designed her ivory princess-style gown fashioned by her mother and sisters. It was made of jacquard fabric, and lace trimmed the sleeves, hemline, train and neckline.
Annemarie Morgan, the bride's sister, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Sharon Kovach and Jennifer Doherty, also her sisters, and Rebecca Liptak. They wore royal amethyst-colored gowns. The bride's niece, Emily Kovach, was flower girl and ring bearer.
Bradley Derteen performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Stephen Mangin, the groom's brother; Patrick Morgan, the bride's brother-in-law; and John Raghanti.
Mrs. Mangin graduated from Trumbull Business College with degrees in accounting and business administration. She is employed as a technical aide at Planning Systems Inc. in Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
Her husband holds a degree in computer science from Youngstown State University and is a programmer and analyst at Planning Systems.
