Medical ethics to be discussed



GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Thiel College will conduct the second seminar in a three-part series aimed at providing area residents with a basic understanding of medical ethics.
People can attend the Community Medical Ethics Program from 1 to 3 p.m. or from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the Howard Miller Student Center. The title of this seminar is "End of Life Decisions: Making Your Choices," and it will feature Dr. Rhonda Gay Hartman, interim assistant director of the Consortium Ethics Program at the University of Pittsburgh.
Topics will include how to work with a physician to determine what is right for you, how to discuss preferences with physicians and family and how to prevent conflicts and promote support.
