CARNEGIE, Pa. -- Mary Katherine Koscak, 2814 Leona Lane, Moon Township, Pa., and Gary Michael Pfeffer, 29 Bank St., exchanged nuptial vows during a 4 p.m. ceremony June 1 as they were united in marriage by the Rev. Bruce Nordeen at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koscak, 4562 New England Lane, Boardman, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pfeffer, 520 Hulton St., accepted congratulations during a reception held afterward at Peters Township Social Hall in McMurray, Pa.
The couple have returned from a Caribbean cruise and live at the Bank Street address.
Embellished with pearls and crystals, the bride's strapless gown featured a ballgown skirt and a chapel train.
Gold and champagne-colored gowns were worn by Lois Marco, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Michelle Luthman, Cynthia Ault and the groom's cousin, Maureen Berlingeri.
Amir Monayez performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Chuck Pfeffer, a brother of the groom; John Koscak, the bride's brother; and Ralph Berlingeri, his cousin.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in physical therapy at the University of Toledo in consortium with the Medical College of Ohio and earned a master's in business administration at Waynesburg College. She is a physical therapist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
The groom is employed at Prominent Fluid Control in Robinson Township, Pa.
