LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements

NILES -- Nine employees from the MCI Call Center in Niles will be traveling to Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas next month as their reward for qualifying for the company's Circle of Excellence award. Recipients are: Carolyn Smolko, customer service manager; Jocelyn Walker, senior sales manager; Justin Payne, sales supervisor; Dan Dwyer, senior sales manager; Noah Lott, sales manager; Michael Jones, customer service supervisor; Mark Soda, sales supervisor; Russ Meier, center director; and Eric Tobin, business manager. Circle winners are in the top percent of the company's employees for sales performance.
COLUMBUS -- Emily Kahrs, formerly of Youngstown, has been named metropolitan program coordinator for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, working with Ohio's 10 metropolitan counties to raise recognition about the role of agriculture in the state's economy. An Ohio State University graduate with a degree in agricultural communications, she worked at televisions in Cleveland, Columbus, Mansfield, Youngstown and Columbia, S.C., before joining the Farm Bureau.
