AUSTINTOWN -- Korean War Veterans of the Mahoning Valley Chapter 137 will have a wreath-laying ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Austintown War Veterans Memorial Park, Wickliffe Circle.
The ceremony will commemorate the 52nd anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War, which started June 25, 1950.
Annual health fairset in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Community Health Center, 721 Wick Ave., will host the annual Community Health Awareness Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. The event will go on even if it rains.
Several local human-service organizations are participating, and the latest health information will be available.
Free screenings will include blood-pressure checks, glucose testing, body-fat analysis, and tests for amblyopia, a vision disorder.
There also will be free refreshments, face painting, raffle items and door prizes.
Tours of the facility will be available throughout the day.

Struthers Day events
STRUTHERS -- Struthers Day celebrations will be in Mauthe Park from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 7.
Total Package Band will provide live music from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Bob Matasy will play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There will also be a free raffle for a television.
The bands and raffle are sponsored by Consumers Ohio Water Co. Fireworks at 10 p.m. are sponsored by the city.

HOWLAND -- The Audiology Department at Forum Health Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, 8747 Squires Lane N.E., offers free hearing screenings and an open house from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Quarter Horse show
CANFIELD -- The American Quarter Horse Association's Northern Ohio QHA Firecracker Circuit is set for July 17-21 at Canfield Fairgrounds.
The regional horse show will feature a variety of events for horse lovers and exhibitors. AQHA shows test horses' abilities in dozens of classes, and features events such as jumping and reining.

Hoyt Institute plans3-week children's camp
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- The Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts Children's Summer Camp is planned for July 9 to July 26.
Open to children ages 3 to 12, the three-week camp will highlight various achievements in American history.
The first week will focus on American inventors, the second week on athletes and the third on American artists.
Classes run from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. The cost is $25 for one week or $67.50 for all three weeks. Hoyt members pay $22.50 per week or $60 for all three weeks.
