Family dinner held in honor of Udovich 50th

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Udovich, 5241 Calla Road, were honored during a family dinner June 21 in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts and hostesses for the event were the honorees' children and spouses, Edward and Louise Udovich of Akron and JoAnn and David Guyer of Poland.
The former Anne Vitkay and Mr. Udovich were married June 21, 1952, at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Youngstown.
Mr. and Mr. Udovich are members of St. Paul the Apostle Church, the Croatian Club in Bessemer, Pa., and SNPJ Lodge 277 in Struthers.
Mr. Udovich retired in 1986 from Commercial Intertech in Youngstown, where he was a laborer in the pressroom. He served during World War II as a sergeant in the U.S. Army's 11th Airborne Division.
Mrs. Udovich is a homemaker.
Their family includes three grandchildren.
