CLASS B BASEBALL Express edges Rondinelli on wild pitch in eighth

STRUTHERS -- Scott Taylor scored the winning run on a wild pitch as Youngstown Express came from behind to edge Rondinelli Tuxedo 4-3 in the Class B League action Saturday at Cene Park.
The Express (11-9) rallied with three runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie before winning in the eighth inning.
Chuckie Horner's two-out, two-run double tied the game in the seventh.
Jake Wargacki (2-2) pitched a complete game, striking out seven, to pick up the win.
Jim Hick had two hits for the Express, while Josh Conkey had two hits for Rondinelli (6-14). Ricky Vickers started for Rondinelli and went the first 62/3 innings giving up only one earned run.
Line Drive 11, Lazart 3: Line Drive (17-3) broke open the game with a six-run seventh inning to win its ninth in a row.
Sean Curry had a double as part of a three-hit effort. Dan Ford, Matt Repec, Giancarlo Silvestri, and Demetrius Makridis had two hits each. Silvestri allowed just one earned run in five innings, while Josh Susany picked up the save.
Lazart (4-16) was led by Steve Franklin with two hits, including a double, while Jonathan Poma had a two-run double.
Becdir 14, Roth Brothers 6: John Sciullo went 3-for-4 with a double, a two- run home run and five RBIs for Becdir (9-11).
Rick DiMuzio added a double and a three-run home run for Becdir, while Gary Bucuren had two hits.
Ralph Festa (3-2) picked up the win with four innings of one-hit, two run ball with four strikeouts.
For Roth (5-15), Steve Ripple had a double and a single and two RBI's, while Kyle Barker added a RBI triple, and Matt Thompson had two RBIs.
Propane 3, Astros 1: Tom Zetts pitched a five-hitter as Youngstown Propane (17-3) stayed tied for first.
Zetts (4-1) struck out seven. Michael Krieger had two hits for Propane as did Chris Russo, Jared Bogan, and Dan Cashon, who had a double and drove in two runs.
Brett Seybert went the distance for Astros (13-7), struck out seven, and allowed only two earned runs. Brent Parks had two hits and stole his league leading 21st base in the first inning.
Riordans 10, Livi 8: Riordans withheld a late rally by Livi to remain tied for fourth with Youngstown Express (11-9).
Josh Pratt had a double and a home run and three RBIs for Riordans, while James Lade had two hits, and Pat Oman had three, including a double.
Brian Samsom come on in relief in the seventh with the tying run at the plate and struck out the last batter to earn his first save.
Alex Sharick had a two-run home run and a single to pace Livi (7-13), while Shawn Petrarca had a double and a single, and Phil Butch two singles. Ryan Monte had two hits, including a two run triple in the seventh and three RBIs.
