TRAINING
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association has announced two new appointments. Leigh Ann Samargia, a licensed social worker, has been promoted to adult services coordinator at the association's Youngstown office. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University and has been employed with MCTA since 1998. Anthonie L. Jackson has been appointed the new Job Developer for the association's Youth Department. A 1987 graduate of South High School, Jackson attended Youngstown State University and coaches Little League Football in Youngstown. Until recently he had been a client service representative at Spherion Corporation.

CANFIELD -- Innis Maggiore Group, an advertising and public relations firm, has hired Thomas Skena as an account supervisor. Skena joined the company from MARC USA in Pittsburgh, where he was a brand strategist and account planner, and he had also worked for companies in Cleveland and Minneapolis. He has a bachelor's degree in communications from Bethany College and lives in Bridgeville, Pa.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
WARREN -- Northeast Ohio Adoption Services has hired Lucinda Kutsko as a marketing specialist for the agency's new federally funded Adoption Opportunities Demonstration Grant, known as the "Targeted Community Outreach Project." An Ellsworth resident, Kutsko has a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Kent State University. She had been manager of fund development for Forum Health in Youngstown.
TELEMARKETING
AUSTINTOWN -- InfoCision Management Corporation has promoted Jay Cave to senior program supervisor in the company's Austintown commercial call center. Cave, a Youngstown resident, has been with the company for three years and has been a trainer, a program supervisor and a call center manager.

Colleen and Derek Rose, formerly of Cortland and Girard, respectively, operate Notso Limited, an Internet business selling original products for cat owners and enthusiasts. Both are Youngstown State University graduates now living in Mansfield. Their Web address is www.Notso-LTD.com.

BROOKFIELD -- Jim Merry of Erie, Pa. has joined 84 Lumber Co. as a manager trainee in the 84 Lumber store in Brookfield. He graduated from Cambridge Springs High School.
