At festival, Paisleywill replace Gilman
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Billy Gilman is out and Brad Paisley is in as headliner of the first Lakeside Summer Festival Series concert at 8 p.m. July 13 at Cooper's Lake, U.S. Route 422, nine miles east of this city.
Gilman has suspended his tour because of health matters, festival organizers said. Paisley is a Country Music Association Award-winning singer-songwriter. His single, "I'm Gonna Miss Her [The Fishin' Song]," and his CD "Part II" are in the top 10 of Billboard magazine's charts.
Tickets are $40 for gold circle; $25 for regular seats; $10 for children ages 6 to 12; and free for children ages 5 and under. Regular seats will be $30 at the gate. Call (724) 658-5000 for information.

Circus to come to mall
BOARDMAN -- A baby elephant will be one of the stars appearing in the Carson & amp; Barnes 5-Ring Circus. Performances are scheduled at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. July 19, 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. July 20, and 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. July 21 at Southern Park Mall.
Baby Jennie, a 1-ton, 3 1/2-year-old pachyderm, will dance; play the tambourine, drum and harmonica; walk a balance beam; and perform in an act with adult elephants.
Safari for seniorsat Cleveland Zoo
CLEVELAND -- Senior Celebration Day, for those 55 years and older, will offer free admission to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and RainForest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Jacobs Field Dixieland Band will play from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Welcome Plaza and the Ohio Army National Guard Band will play at 1 p.m. in the amphitheater. The zoo's Palava Hut Pavilion will be the site of local health and wellness organizations' displays and information distribution. First in talent search
CLEVELAND -- Sara Pecchia, 14, a vocalist/actress and freshman at Canfield High School, won first place in the 2002 Christian Music Rising Star Talent Search staged by Applause International and sponsored by radio station 95.5 "The Fish." Second place went to Tony Cornelius of Cincinnati and third to Charlie Bell Jr. of Medina.
Winners will receive all-expenses-paid trips to the 2002 American Model and Talent Convention on Wednesday through Sunday in Orlando, Fla., where they will receive hands-on training and audition for filmmakers, music producers and photographers.
Lynyrd Skynyrd to playat Marconi Grand Prix
CLEVELAND -- Lynyrd Skynyrd will headline the Pioneer Rock and Roar Concert at the 21st annual Marconi Grand Prix of Cleveland planned July 12-14 in Cleveland.
