SHARON, Pa. -- First Presbyterian Church provided the setting as Amy Marie Nogay and Robert J. Van Almen, both of 1101 Tall Grass Circle, Stow, exchanged marriage vows during a 4 p.m. ceremony May 26 before the Rev. Dr. Glenn Hink and the Rev. Dr. Richard Steele.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at Tiffany's in Brookfield.
Parents of the couple are Walter and Dr. Kathleen Nogay, 2417 Twelve Oaks Drive, Hermitage, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Van Almen, 630 Schneider St. S.E., North Canton.
Since returning from a honeymoon on an Alaskan cruise and trip to Las Vegas, the couple live at the Stow address.
The bride wore an ivory silk strapless gown fashioned in an A-line design. She also wore her great-grandmother's antique brooch and her grandmother's pearl necklace.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Almen both graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with bachelor's degrees in sport management. She is sales coordinator at Playhouse Publishing in Akron. He owns North Canton Wine Gallery in North Canton.
Honor attendant was Allison Kolin. Bridesmaids were Shawna Muscatello, Dena Colucci, Missy Young and Heather Van Almen, sister of the groom. They wore black dresses.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeff Falkner. Groomsmen were Michael Salvino, David Phillips, Steven Saris and Robert Sibel. Ushers were Kevin Knestrick, David Cooper, Steven Slesnick and Ken Hill.
