Street projects use city, state and federal funds

WARREN -- Besides the parts of 38 city streets set for resurfacing this year with city and community development funds, other street projects in the city include a combination of state and federal money.
Included is Tod Avenue Southwest, which is being resurfaced with a combination of Ohio Public Works Commission and federal dollars.
Resurfacing of Niles Road Southeast is being done with federal, community development and city funds.
The Parkman Road Southwest construction project includes OPWC, community development and city water department money, and the Dana Street Northeast project includes OPWC and community development funds.
Work also is set on Streetscape, a downtown revitalization project that will use federal and community development money, and on a closed loop traffic light project that will be completed with federal funds.
The list of streets to be paved with city money this summer was published Friday.
