YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Linette Carles Heatherly and Bryan R. Bowser Jr. took place at 4 p.m. June 1 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Parents of the couple are Carlos and Martha Heatherly, Sully, Iowa, and Bryan and Rosina Bowser, Canfield.
The Rev. John Tickner officiated, and a reception took place at the Saxon Club in Austintown. The couple honeymooned in San Francisco and live in Plainfield, Ill.
The bride was wearing a white A-line gown of chiffon and satin with a scoop neckline and cathedral train. It was trimmed with schiffli lace, pearls and sequins.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by the matron of honor, Lennis Mathews, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Held, Heather Bowser, Melissa Young and Julie Gibson. White and periwinkle gowns made by the bride were worn by the junior bridesmaid, Grace Held, and the flower girls, Jessica Mathews and Anna and Faith Held.
Aaron Bowser was best man, and groomsmen were Douglas Lang, Richard DeOnofrio, Robert Rupeka and Michael Neumann. Ring bearers were Joseph Held and Luke Bowser, and ushers were Jeff Mathews, Christopher Motogawa, John Thellmann and Charles Giglio.
Mrs. Bowser holds a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and a master's from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is on the faculty at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Her husband graduated from Northwestern University with bachelor's and master's degrees. He is manager of the management consulting department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
