Tanya George, Greg Ekoniak to wed Aug. 2

A summer wedding is being planned by Tanya George of Wintersville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John George, 154 Garden Drive, Wintersville, and Greg Ekoniak of Struthers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ekoniak, 5464 Fifth St., Poland.
The bride-elect graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.
The future groom earned a bachelor's degree in sports management at Youngstown State University and also graduated from Northwestern University School of Orthotics and Prosthetics in Chicago. He is the practice manager at Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics in Steubenville.
The couple will be married during a ceremony planned for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. They will be honored the following weekend at a picnic reception at the home of the bride-to-be's parents.
