June 10
Theft: A 2-by-8-foot sign congratulating a graduate was stolen from a front yard in the residential 400 block of Findlay Avenue.
Drug: Charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia were brought against a 30-year-old Salem man arrested on East Main Street after a traffic stop.
June 13
Theft: An elderly resident in the 100 block of Carriage Lane reported that $160 in cash had been taken from a wallet in a dresser drawer. A home health aide is a suspect.
June 14
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Herbert Road man after a traffic stop of Hillside Drive on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they found two small, plastic bags containing suspected marijuana and a blue and red glass pipe. Two 17-year-old male juveniles also were arrested on minor charges.

Attempted theft: The door lock was damaged in an attempted theft of a vehicle in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
Criminal damaging: A 1997 Dodge passenger-side window was broken out in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Warrant: Police arrested a woman on a warrant on theft charges out of the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department at Phar-Mor, 4755 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A 9-inch television was stolen from the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Fraud: Money was reported drawn from a victim's account by a resident in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Theft: Clothing items were taken by three women at Fashion Bug, 6000 Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal trespass: Police arrested a woman for trespassing at Rebel 38, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Warrant: Police arrested a male suspect on two bench warrants for domestic violence at Boak and Sons, 75 Victoria Road.
Receiving stolen property: A male suspect was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property at the intersection of Fitch Boulevard and Tarrytown Lane.

Theft: A man was released on a summons for theft at IGA, Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Police arrested a man on drug offenses for possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse at Kimberly Avenue and Baker Street.
Aggravated menacing: An unidentified weapon was pointed and directed at a juvenile in the 1300 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Theft: Numerous items were taken by a business partner in the 1700 block of South Raccoon Road.
Weapons offense: An 18-year-old male suspect was accused with a weapons offense in the 4000 block of Webb Road.

Theft: A compact disc player, CDs, cash and an amplifier were stolen from an auto in the 100 block of Westminister Avenue.
Lost/stolen: A woman's purse with its contents was reported lost or stolen in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A lawn was damaged in the 3000 block of Huntmere Avenue.
Theft: Ohio license plates were stolen from a vehicle at Chippers, 5 S. Edgehill Ave.
Auto theft: A 1980 Buick with no plates was stolen from Classic Car Network, 656 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Attempted burglary: A burglary attempt was made in the 700 block of S. Meridian Road. A door window was broken in the attempt.
Theft: Chains and binders were taken from Fyda Freightliners, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.
Burglary: A home was entered after a bedroom window screen was broken into in the residential 70 block of South Roanoke Avenue, and jewelry was stolen.
