Express is beaten, 3-2, by Columbus

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Columbus All Americans used an early 3-0 lead Tuesday to beat the Youngstown Express college-age baseball team, 3-2, in the Great Lakes Summer League at Pemberton-Donnell Park.
Columbus scored in the first, second and sixth innings.
The Express got their runs in the eighth when Chase Odenreider hit a two-run single to score Jesse Cragwall and Brad Whitman.
Brad Schutz hit a leadoff single and stole second in the Express ninth, but was stranded.
Jordan Thompson gave up five hits in six innings to get the loss. T.J. Johnson got the win for Columbus.
