COLUMBUS -- Ashley Ault of Mineral Ridge High School and Lindsay Byer of Southington, a pair of senior pitchers, were named to the Division IV first team of the 2002 All-Ohio softball team, as voted by the Ohio High School Fastpitch Coaches Association.
In Div. I, Heather Smith of East Liverpool and Boardman's Gina Rango, seniors who both played third base, made the second team.
Senior pitcher Sarah Knill of Poland was named to the Div. II honorable mention list.
In Div III, senior pitcher Jenn Toth of South Range was selected to the second team while Champion senior outfielder Jessica Rowland was an honorable mention selection.
Infielder Stevie Goist, a junior at Columbiana, was a Div. IV second team pick while senior outfielder Kelly Puskar of Warren JFK and Corey Velk, a junior pitcher at Jackson-Milton, made the honorable mention.
