Buckeye 5 winner claims $100,000
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- A Linford Lane resident has claimed her $100,000 prize in the Ohio Lottery's Buckeye 5 game.
Patricia A. Ayers, a salesclerk at Southern Park Mall, won the money in the June 10 drawing and filed her claim in the Ohio Lottery Commission's Youngstown office Tuesday. She'll get a check for $69,500 in four to six weeks after federal and state tax withholdings, the commission said.
She chose her own winning numbers and bought the ticket at McQuaid's Gas and Oil, 10367 Main St., here. McQuaid's will get a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
