YOUNGSTOWN -- The Bryn Mawr Block Watch on the East Side will have trash bins available from Friday through June 30 so residents within the block watch area can throw away unwanted household items. The bins will be open between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily on Guss Avenue between Keough and Bryn Mawr avenues. No tires or major appliances will be taken. Drop-offs will be strictly monitored.
Fourth of July parade
YOUNGSTOWN -- The third annual Lansingville Block Watch Fourth of July Parade will be June 30. Groups marching in the parade will gather at 3:15 p.m. in the St. Matthias School parking lot. The parade will start shortly after. The rain date is July 7. The parade route will be along East Indianola Avenue from Zedaker to Taylor streets and end at the Adams School parking lot.
