William Bell receives service award from Ohio Council



DAYTON -- William C. Bell was named the 2002 recipient of the Meritorious Service Award on June 8 at the Ohio Council of Deliberation held in Dayton.
Bell is a past master of Youngstown Lodge 615, having served as master four different years. He is a member of the York Rite Bodies of Youngstown, Aut Mori Grotto, Al Koran Shrine and the Philalethes Society.
He became a member in the Scottish Rite in 1979 and has served on the makeup committee for over 20 years, currently as vice chairman.
He also has served as a deacon and usher at Evangel Baptist Church. He is employed at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He and his wife, Cookie, live in Austintown.
Bell will receive his certificate, cap and jewel at the Council of Deliberation to be held in Akron next June.
