Bridge replacement
BERLIN CENTER -- The Ohio Department of Transportation plans to replace a bridge over a branch of Turkey Broth Creek east of the Berlin Reservoir in spring 2003. The project will cover 270 feet. An evaluation by the Army Corps of Engineers determined the project will not substantially affect the environment.
During construction, the road will be closed for no more than 60 days. The official detour will follow state Route 225, Interstate 76, and either state Route 534 or state Route 45. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2003.
