ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. -- Margaret J. Daniels, daughter of John and Margaret Daniels, 4121 Howard St., Youngstown, and Matthew A. Michel, son of John Michel and Nancy Dean, both of Dothan, Ala., were married at noon May 18 at Ocean Front House, where a reception followed.
Deacon Mary H. Franklin officiated.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., and are living in Bristow, Va.
A cream dress designed with a linen bodice and layered silk skirt was worn by the bride.
Ring bearer was Luke Blohm of Mentor, the bride's cousin.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, holds a doctorate in tourism economics from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., and is an assistant professor in the department of health, fitness and recreation resources at George Mason University in Manassas, Va.
Mr. Michel graduated from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Miss., with a bachelor's degree in engineering. He is employed in the advanced projects division at Lockheed-Martin in Manassas.
