YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. David Rhodes solemnized the marriage of Lisa Marie Handel of Canfield and Matthew Allen Campbell of Boardman during a ceremony at 2 p.m. June 15 at St. Christine Church.
The daughter of Jim and Rosemary Handel of Canfield and the son of Mark and Kathy Campbell of Export, Pa., later accepted congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
Pearls and crystal beading detailed the bride's candlelight, sleeveless A-line gown fashioned with cathedral-length train.
Natalie A. Sekula was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Kate Campbell, the groom's sister; Amy Canterino, Leah Santore, Kristen Klucher and Julie Handel, cousins of the bride; and Jenelle Boyle. They wore cancun-colored dresses. Flower girls were Marissa Viglio, her cousin, and Leah Siebel, his goddaughter.
David Campbell served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Michael and Jeff Handel, the bride's brothers; and Gordon Petronsky, Dan Reese, Mike Ruane and Kirk Taylor. Nickie LaCava, the groom's cousin, was ring bearer.
Mr. and Mrs. Campbell graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights. He earned a bachelor's degree in history and she, a bachelor's degree in elementary education. The bride is a kindergarten teacher at Crestview Elementary School in Colum-biana. Her husband is a history teacher and baseball coach at Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown.
The couple are honeymooning in Jamaica. They will live in Boardman.
