COLUMBUS -- Ascension Lutheran Church was the setting May 11 for the wedding of Cereta Angela Wallace, daughter of Martin and Cynthia Wallace, 61 Grandview Ave., Jackson, Ill., and Bryan Vantell, son of Mary Margaret and Greg Vantell of West Parkside Drive, Boardman.
The Rev. Joseph Coll solemnized the 4:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception took place at Monaco's Palace.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple are living in Chicago.
A strapless gown with an empire waist was worn by the bride. It was enhanced with pearls and crystals, and the skirt featured a cathedral train of tulle.
Erica Wallace was maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Stacey Vantell, the groom's sister; Nicole Ringer; Elizabeth Roeder; and Natalie Wallace, the bride's sister. They wore platinum-colored gowns.
The duties of best man were performed by Jason Vantell, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Neville Handel, Darren McDonough, Jeffrey Anderson and the bride's brother, Jason Wallace. Keaton LoCicero, his cousin, was ring bearer, and ushers were Matt Uber and Chris Vallacu.
Mrs. Vantell is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens with a degree in child and family development. She is a developmental therapist with Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Her husband holds a master's degree in information systems from OU and is a technical consultant for Accenture in Chicago.
