BANKING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Sky Bank has announced four promotions. Dexter A. Hollen, who recently joined the company as assistant vice president, has transferred to the Struthers financial center where he will be responsible for the overall sales management of the financial center. A Struthers resident, Dexter graduated from Struthers High School, attended Youngstown State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He is licensed to sell securities, accident, health and life insurance and variable annuities in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Sheri Johngrass was named assistant vice president, manager of the Cornersburg financial center. A Youngstown resident, she had been manager of the Canfield branch. She attended Youngstown State University.
Richard Liszka was promoted to assistant vice president, commercial banking. With 16 years of banking experience, he had been assistant vice president, asset quality. Liszka, a Poland resident, has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Westminster College.
Christopher M. Trobek was promoted to manager of the Lowellville financial center. Trobek had been a team leader and a customer sales associate.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Robert D. Meek has been named assistant vice president and business development officer for Metropolitan National Bank. He had been regional sales manager for the company and has 25 years of banking experience. Meek has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University and lives in Youngstown.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Richard J. Lis, formerly of Youngstown, has been appointed executive vice president and chief lending officer for Citizens National Bank in Bluffton, Ohio. Lis, formerly vice president and senior relationship manager at Bank One in Youngstown, came to Citizens National with more than 25 years experience in the financial services industry. He has a bachelor's degree in commerce and a master's degree in business administration, both from Niagara University in New York. He has also completed the three-year program at The Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
MANUFACTURING
MASURY -- Specialty Strip & amp; Oscillating has promoted Adam von Philp to a new general sales position in the company, responsible for inside and outside sales. A Fowler resident, von Philp joined the company six years ago and was a slitter operator.
LOWELLVILLE -- Anthony A. Donatelli Sr., a Lowellville native and a 1967 graduate of Lowellville High School, has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Imperial Group in Portland, Tenn. The company, which supplies metal parts and design and assembly services to heavy truck and bus manufacturers, is a subsidiary of Transportation Technologies Industries. Donatelli retired recently from General Motors Corp. where he worked for 30 years. He began his GM career at the Lordstown Assembly Plant in 1973 and held several management positions there and at other plants, retiring as program manufacturing manager, commercial vehicles. He graduated from General Motors Institute in 1972.
HEALTH CARE
LIBERTY -- MVI HomeCare has hired Vicki Merrick of Diamond, Ohio, as its regional manager and Raymond R. Carlson of Lowellville as a clinical pharmacist. Merrick, a registered nurse, had been director of business development for the Columbia Healthcare Corp. in Texas. She graduated from Austintown Fitch High School, attended Youngstown State University and Ohio State University and holds an associate degree in applied science. Carlson, a registered pharmacist, came to MVI from Phar-Mor where he was pharmacy manager. He was a member of the Canfield High School class of 1980 and earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University.
