East Liverpool man dies after crash

EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Lisbon post of the Ohio State Highway patrol is investigating a fatal car crash.
A Salem Community Hospital spokeswoman said Friday that Jesse R. Fisher, 23, of 16450 Fisher Road, East Liverpool, died around 2:15 a.m. Thursday after a one-car crash Wednesday in Madison Township.
An East Liverpool City Hospital spokeswoman said two other East Liverpool-area men in the car, Justin M. Moisey, 21, of 491141/2 Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, and Michael L. Reese, 20, of 49869 Belmont Ave., were treated Wednesday evening.
The patrol said Fisher was a rear-seat passenger in a car driven by Moisey, with Reese as a front-seat passenger.
The crash remains under investigation.
According to the patrol, Moisey was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier north on East Liverpool Road near Y & amp;0 Road around 11:25 p.m. Wednesday when the crash occurred.
The patrol said Moisey lost control and the car went left of center; Moisey then steered right to avoid oncoming traffic, and the car went off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.
None of the men was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
