CANFIELD -- DAD's pet care and Angels for Animals will have their third annual Adopt-a-Pet weekend Friday through Sunday in celebration of Father's Day. The event will be at more than 60 shelters across 46 cities, including the Angels for Animals shelter in Beaver Township.
For every pet adopted over the three-day period, DAD's will provide coupons for two complimentary large bags of pet food, a three-month supply for most breeds. The company said it hopes to sponsor 1,000 adoptions nationally this year after helping more than 700 animals find homes during Father's Day weekend last year.
