Babe Ruth (14-15s)
Sluggers 7, Line Drive Academy 2 -- Sluggers handed Line Drive its first loss behind the pitching of Aaron Pollack and Josh McKenney. Tyler Stanley had four hits, including two doubles. Lou Kopachy doubled and drove in two runs. Dave Piersante, Adam Miller, Ryan Hamilton, and Aaron Pollack all had two hits. Jared Bartholomew had two singles for Line Drive.
Central Optical 6, Astros 0 -- Joe Irwin shut out the Astros, scattering five hits and striking out five. He also had a single and a double.
Central Optical 6, Campbell 0 -- Dave DiYorio went the distance for the win, striking out eight. Anthony Porter hit a three-run homer.
Belleria Pizza 5, East Side Kiwanis 4 -- Michael Keller's single in the eighth inning started the game-winning rally. Nate Tacsik and Justin Herberger each went 2-for-4.

Boardman Mayo & amp; Associates 11, Austintown Koch Construction 6 -- Rich O'Brien pitched 3 1/3 innings in relief for the win. O'Brien had three hits, knocked in a run, scored a run and stole one base. Zach Smith drove in four runs with two hits including a double. He also stole two bases. Ken Kelso had two RBIs and scored twice. Dave Nash stole three bases and scored twice. For Austintown, Shane Price hit a three-run homer.
Salem VFW 13, Austintown Greenwood Chevrolet 7.
Columbiana Post 290 12, Poland Spartan Chevy 6 -- Jeffrey Harold and Tommy DeChellis each hit a three-run homer. Billy Couchenour doubled twice.
Canfield Robert Senn 4, Austintown Denny's 3 -- Jonathan Bastian threw four shutout innings with nine strikeouts and he went 2-for-2. Travis Kneen drove in the game-winning run.
Struthers St. Anthonys 18, Columbiana Sports Scene 3 -- Dan Monus had three hits and drove in four runs to lead Struthers. Chris Anzevino, Gordon Slanina, Steven Streb and Tristan Suchora added two hits each. Jerry Beeson had the pitching victory, striking out seven. Jarrett Welton hit a double for Columbiana.
Tri-T COLT
Austintown Home Depot 10, Columbiana Graft Electric 2 -- Winning pitcher Jim Balog threw a complete game. Home Depot (4-0) had 12 hits; Matt Truswell, Dave Stryffler and Scott Summers had two apiece.
Austintown Greenleaf Landscaping 10, Canfield Heaven Sent 7 -- Alex Oles, John Burnich, and Mike Ward combined on a six-hitter. Kevin Steele went 2-for-2, John Burnich and Mike Ward went 3-for-4, and Dan Garcia had the game winning triple with the bases loaded in the seventh. Brandon Wolfe went 3-for-3 and Brian Kloss and John Carbon hit doubles for Canfield.
