Questionable doctors
WASHINGTON -- The consumer advocacy group, Public Citizen, has established a Web site -- www.questionabledoctors.org -- that lists information on 1,042 physicians who have been disciplined by Ohio's state medical board and other agencies for incompetence, misprescribing drugs, sexual misconduct, criminal convictions, ethical lapses and other offenses. Public Citizen, founded by Ralph Nader, has been publishing national and regional editions of its Questionable Doctors database for more than a decade.
Before you are allowed to see the list of disciplined doctors, you'll have to provide your name and other information about yourself. To see full reports, you must subscribe to the service for $10 for three months.
