AVON -- Avon United Methodist Church was the setting at 4:30 p.m. May 18 for the wedding of Lori A. Rodgers and Thomas J. Barberic.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rodgers, 728 Indiana Ave., McDonald, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Barberic, 4306 W. 155th St., Cleveland.
The Revs. John Butchko and Doug Koesel officiated, and a reception followed at Avon Oaks Country Club. After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple are living in Cleveland.
The bride's gown of white crepe was designed with a tank-style, sequined bodice and form-fitting skirt featuring a fishtail train.
Michelle White, the bride's sister, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Julie Barberic, the groom's sister-in-law; Sue Clark; Nancy Dorenkott, his sister; Jennie Iverson and Amy Heini, her cousins; Dawn Menear; and Kim Zegelnieks. They wore periwinkle gowns. Flower girl was Lauren Dorenkott, the groom's niece.
Best man was David Slater, and groomsmen were Richard and James Barberic, his brothers; Mark Rodgers, her brother; Duane White, her brother-in-law; Bob Sevel; and Dan Hesson. Jason White, her nephew, was ring bearer, and ushers were Tim Kelly and John Tuley.
The bride attended Kent State University and graduated from Kennedy Western University. She is a clinical-research consultant with Imarc Research Inc. in Cleveland.
Mr. Barberic is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He is a pharmaceutical-sales representative for Bayer in Cleveland.
