Family dinner held to honor Picks on 50th

NORTH JACKSON -- Hartville Kitchen in Hartville was the setting May 18 for a family dinner party held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pick, 13176 Palmyra Road, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Participating in the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Roger and Donise Pick of North Lawrence; Mark and Jasmine Pick of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Brad and Nancy Pick of Statesville, N.C.; Tami and Brian Srock of Berlin Center; and Joanne and Roger Henslee of Austintown. There also are 15 grandchildren in the family.
The former Lillian Brown and Mr. Pick were married April 12, 1952, at Harlansburg Presbyterian Church, Harlansburg, Pa.
Mrs. Pick is employed by Mahoning County Mental Retardation and Developmentally Disabled Services as a workshop specialist at Leonard Kirtz School.
Mr. Pick is an electrician with Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
The couple are graduates of Christ for the Nations College in Dallas and are members of Trinity Fellowship in Craig Beach.
