The burning of a storage building and concession stand is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Arson.Location: Notre Dame Elementary School, Highland Road, Hermitage.Details: Police said someone set fire to a storage building and a concession stand at Notre Dame Elementary School complex around 6 a.m. June 2. The fire destroyed both structures, causing $50,000 damage. It has been ruled an arson.Suspects: Police said several juveniles were seen in the area just before the fire was discovered.Contact: Call Crime Solvers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at (724) 347-HELP. Callers do not have to give their names.Reward: Crime Solvers, a nonprofit organization, offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in Mercer County.
