YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning County Treasurer's Office is mailing second-half real estate tax bills and should have all bills mailed in a week, said Treasurer John Reardon.
The bills are going out earlier than usual this year, but the payment date remains Aug. 9, Reardon said. Anyone whose real estate tax bill does not arrive by next Saturday should call the treasurer's office at (330) 740-2460.
Park board appointment
BOARDMAN -- Township trustees said they'll appoint Mark Luke of Grover Drive to the Boardman Township Park Board of Commissioners on Monday. Luke, a lifelong township resident, is assistant vice president of corporate banking for National City Bank. His term will begin immediately and end in May 2005.
