ASSOCIATIONS
XAlliance Area Retired Teachers Association will meet for lunch at noon June 21 at Taster's Choice in Alliance. Dick Elliott will present the program, "Radio Days." XMahoning/Shenango Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals will present "Panning for Gold in the Donor Stream" at noon June 20 at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty. Registration will begin at 11:15 a.m. followed by a buffet lunch at 11:30. Presenters will be Kathleen Austrino, supervisor of the Poland Unit of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County; Bill Kirker, director of development at St. Paul Homes; and Tom Taylor, director of research and foundation relations at Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa. XVienna Farm Bureau Young Agriculturists Council will attend the Trumbull County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees' annual Strawberry and Cream Festival at 8 p.m. Friday at Lakeview High School cafeteria, 300 Hillman Drive, Cortland.
XYoungstown Council of Catholic Nurses will meet from 5 to 9:30 p.m. June 20 for a picnic at Boardman Township Park's Elton Beard's Family Cabin. New members are welcome.
FRATERNAL GROUPS
XYoungstown-Warren Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity will hold a scholarship luncheon at noon June 15 at the Ellsworth United Presbyterian Church, state Route 224. Music will be presented by the Rick Barber Trio, and there will be a fashion show. Tickets will be available at the door.

XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet for a dance at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Choices at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty. The cost is $4. Short-holes golf will be played at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. The group will meet Thursday at Boardman Township Park and then watch the John Reese Quintet performance.
