Heart Walk kickoff
YOUNGSTOWN -- The 2002 Heart Children for Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, Joey Alberini, 5, of Warren, and Stephen Antal, 4, of Austintown, will be introduced at the American Heart Association's Heart Walk kickoff Thursday at the Butler Institute of American Art on Wick Avenue.
Joey will lead the Trumbull County Division walk at Cafaro Field behind the Eastwood Mall in Niles on Sept. 21; and Stephen will lead the Mahoning/ Columbiana Division at Boardman Township Park on the same date.
Speakers at the 7:30 a.m. breakfast meeting Thursday are Michael Rowan, chief executive officer of Humility of Mary Health Partners, walk chairman; and Bill Knecht, a heart disease survivor and owner of Wendell August Forge in Grove City, Pa.
Other CEOs, company leaders, team leaders and survivors also will attend the event.
