2 teen girls report threat by man

AUSTINTOWN -- Two teen-age girls reported a man pointed a gun at them and threatened to kill them as they rode home with him from the St. Brendan Church festival.
The 15- and 14-year-olds told police Tuesday they asked a male they knew for a ride home from the festival Saturday, and on the way he stopped at a friend's apartment. Once there, reports say, he pulled a gun from under the front seat and told them, "If you don't do what I tell you to do, I'll kill both of you in the woods."
The girls said they thought the man was kidding, but once he stopped the car, he told the 15-year-old to exit the vehicle so they could "take a walk." The girl told police he asked where her father worked, and then stated that he could "hold you up and have your dad pay me money and I will give you 5 percent of the money."
He then grabbed her arm and demanded a sexual act, at which time she fled back to the vehicle, according to reports.
She said the driver told her and her friend to get out of the car, at which time they fled to Wedgewood Pizza and called another friend for a ride home.
