Woman found dead at apartment

AUSTINTOWN -- Police and the Mahoning County Coroner's Office are investigating the case of a woman in her early 20s who was found dead Monday afternoon at Compass West Apartments.
Police said a caller told them at 3:33 p.m. that a woman had been discovered unconscious. When police and ambulance personnel arrived at the scene, they found the woman dead.
Police declined to release the victim's name, pending notification of her family.
