SANDLOT BASEBALL Riordan Sports gains 12-7 win over Lazart

Jeff Donston and Josh Pratt keyed Riordan Sports' attack in the Class B League.
STRUTHERS -- Jeff Donston and Josh Pratt each had three hits for Riordan Sports, which defeated Lazart 12-7 in a Class B League game at Cene Park Monday.
Pat Omen, Mike DeCola, and Greg Mentrek added two hits apiece for Riordan (3-3).
Steve Franklin had two hits for Lazart (1-5).
Line Drive Academy 6, Youngstown Express 3: Vasili Pahoulis went 3-for-3 with two RBIs for Line Drive (4-2).
Matt Repec hit a solo home run in the fifth, and John Susany pitched 41/3 scoreless innings, striking out eight, to pick up the win.
Chuckie Horner and Scott Taylor each had two hits for Express (1-5).
Astro Falcons 12, Rondinelli 11: A bases-loaded walk to Bob Benson in the top of the eighth inning scored the winning run for Astros.
Rondinelli pitchers walked 14 batters and also had 14 strikeouts in the game, and Rondinelli committed eight errors. Only six of the twelve runs scored by Astros were earned.
Rick Vickers and Gaabe McKee had two hits for Rondinelli, which tied the game on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh. Eric DonAngelo hit a double.
Youngstown Propane 5, Roth Brothers 2: Tom Zetts struck out 11 in a two-hit, complete-game victory. He also had a triple. Michael Krieger had two RBIs for undefeated Propane (6-0).
Joe McCracken doubled for Roth Brothers.
Livi Steel 9, Becdir 1: Ryan Dillon had a double and triple with 2 RBIs for Livi Steel, which broke a two-game losing streak. Shawn Petrarca had a double among his two hits for Livi. Steve Burnich had a two-run double in Livi's six-run third inning. Gary Bucuren had a triple for Becdir.
Class AA: YOUNGSTOWN -- Caleb Goist's two hits sparked Jolly Joe's to an 8-3 victory over DiCioccio Construction.
Vince Cerni had three RBIs in Tamburro's 5-2 win over Tri-County.
